A static, zero-cost API over the same audited data the plates are built from. Every endpoint is a plain JSON file on the CDN — one source, two formats: the page you can read, and the claims a machine can cite, recompute, and audit.
The catalogue: every plate, every data island, every endpoint, plus which islands feed which plates.
One plate's testimony: its headline claims, each with a typed value, source island, derivation, recompute script, and governing caveats.

The 50 underlying data islands as standalone files — byte-identical twins of the JSON embedded in the human page. Each island's entry in the index carries a sha256 of the served file, so a recomputation can prove it started from the same bytes.
The correction ledger: every published claim later found wrong, corrected in place on the plate and recorded in method §10 — here as structured entries (the claim as shipped, what the check showed, the corrected reading, how long the error was live, and links to the deposition and island keys).

A claim therefore separates the source (which file, which array), the derivation (the arithmetic, stated plainly), and verified (the dated human audit that recomputed it). A pointer pretending to be more precise than that would be less honest, not more.
caveat_refs — an empty list is itself an assertion that none apply. The corpus-wide one to know: ICLR changed its rating scale and review form four times over 2018–2026, so any claim comparing scores across years carries the moving-ruler caveat (see method §07, "The moving ruler"). Claims about unit counts and shares — most of the site — are measured by the taxonomy, which is the constant instrument.
plate-i#1a-negative-share — stable across visual redesigns even when the prose around a number is rewritten. Derived data is CC BY 4.0; the underlying reviews belong to their anonymous authors via OpenReview.
